Her quiet, gimmick-free and nostalgic 70s-Crooklyne soulful sensibility are all greatly appreciated. There’s something rather powerful about the simplicity of well-tailored and a quiet, disciplined demeanour in high fashion these days that’s so rare. Just that her collections/presentations never feels and looks complete— and I’m not sure if this is because of budget, or because this is all she has to offer.
