I never understood how Walter could ever sell anything. Can anyone enligthen me?

His "æstheticterrorists" line sells more. Very urbane and functional.

I like alot of this actually. I love the tailored jackets on the men and the women's stuff beautiful. A bit Bernhard-esque. Of course, this is coming from the originator Antwerp kitsch.

Scott isn't the æstheticterrorists line no longer going?

there is alot of very 'sports wear' style clothing in the collections.

The customers are doing as much Coke as he is?

I find the constant sex and bondage references in most of his work repulsive... This was just a bit zany...

Walter is a big advocate of safe sex

Cool, have nothing against him. I just don't like hardcore bondage stuff, call me conservative but I find it a bit scary for no good reason, just a gut reaction type thing. The lookbook just seems zany though, quite English/Japanese.

Space,I think that was Wild & Lethal Trash that was stopped. I think aesthetic... is still going along with his signature.

Prince,I'll admit that I've never been quite keen on alot Walter's work, but that bondage stuff stopped when W&LT did. He's softened up quite alot since. Still a bit over-the-top sometimes however.

I think his store in Antwerp is doing pretty well, no? He sells other designers too.

hmm on his site it sais 1999-until 2OO4: æstheticterrorists® by walter , so i don't know

I think W&LT is still going, becuas it is owned by some investors who kicked him out becuas it wasn't making anof money.

Not for me, I’m afraid.

But then again it’s hard to judge only from the pictures, and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any of his stuff in person.

I like bits and pieces of his collections

Like this from FW 05

It can be called hideous, but i'm drawn to how much he follows his own aesthetic, i guess I have a soft spot for terrible taste...it feels magical to me when people follow what they believe in even if it is ugly.
