There's no thread like this, is there?

I should tell you guys an interesting short shopping story (full details will be on my blog later this week.) I was at a store yesterday trying on a pair of pants. Not only were they too long (way too long, I might add. Not 3 inches too long), but too big around the waist, hips and rise (about two or three inches longer than where they should be). Not just a little bit too big (which would be normal for 5'2" petite moi), but A LOT TOO BIG. The pants were a size 0, the smallest in the store. Sales associate was like "but it's a size 0!" A non-petite size zero should only be a little bit too big around the waist and hips, and maybe a little bit longer at the rise and hem. This thing felt like a size 4 or even 6.

I was at Barnes & Noble a few months ago, and there was a person laying down in the middle of one of the aisles, sleeping. And nobody bothered him.

I'm not sure if I quite understand your story writergal - but I'd be frustrated if I bought pants that weren't the size the label said it was!

Hehe, I'd sleep in Barnes & Noble if I could - but I'd go for a chair, not the aisle. That's just me though ;)

My story is... well I'll let you form your opinion on it. I was buying a dress that was on sale at Bloomingdales. I went to pay for it, and when I handed the associate my credit card, she threw it down into my open wallet on the counter. Not gently handing it over or placing the card on the counter, literally throwing down. My friend and I were pretty shocked, so nothing came out of our mouths. After that, she went around the counter to hand me my bag - and she had a fake smile on her face like she had done nothing wrong. I don't know about you, but I found her gesture to be very rude, so I did end up reporting her.

It's weird because the woman at the store didn't understand that size zero isn't created equal. She automatically assumed that size zero would fit me because I'm small. And also, weird because the pants fit weird. I looked like a clown.
