oh, how is it! i'm so curious...

I can't say too much since I'm only half way through but I do like the book so far. It's funny because once I read the first page it felt like I was back in a JK Rowling novel, even if it wasn't Harry Potter, it felt like her writing. Though it's definitely not a book I'd let a young child read, some parts are a bit...racy. And I think she's telling the story in an interesting way, with several different character's point of view. I'm so glad that she had another book in her, I will admit I was a bit worried that Harry Potter was the end.

it is being touted as her first novel specifically for adult readers so it makes sense that the content would be a bit more adult..
i'm sure i'll pick it up at some point soon...

I just purchased Casual Vacancy. I'm super excited to read it! I've read reviews that hated it, that loved it, that said she should stick to Harry Potter, that said this is great and a great branch away from Harry Potter, that both are excellent... I'm excited to see how I like it!
