What Are You Reading?

I also like the way no one argues, we all look out for each other and are all really friendly. I would say this board has a really good ... whats the word, karma? atmosphere ? relationship ??

On the Road - Jack Kerouac
I got that recently to read on my holiday

Has anyone read 'the curious incident of the dog in the nightime?' I'm thinking of getting it but I'm wary of all the hype it's got as usually books that are hyped up turn out to be disapointing (well that's what I've found anyway...)

I read it and I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would because of all the hype and friends who built it up. It was a quick and interesting read but not life-altering or anything. It did make me think about autism in a different way though--like what it would be like to be autistic and their thought process etc. Overall I think it's worth reading.

It is. Rather sad, made me cry a little. Has anyone read this Da Vinci Code book? I kept seeing it on the bestseller lists. Is it worth reading despite the fact that it's based on a bunch of lies?

The DaVinci Code is a pretty good "leisure" novel. A lot of people don't remember that it's fiction, but despite the fact that it's a sheer thriller novel, it's a good leisure read. If you want a better bibliomystery, read stuff by Umberto Eco or Katherine Neville.

Also, I keep trying to recommend Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" to read before The DaVinci Code, because A&D is the first book to introduce the main character, Robert Langdon, but no one ever listens to me. LOL.

just finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and I'm starting A Changed Man by Francine Prose

faust - okey, I don't know where your avatar's from so I assumed it had something to do with your nick... ^_^
