I just finished reading Elegance by Kathleen Tessaro. Quite funny and cute and some good tips. ;)
It's a bit of a fun read, isn't it? I have a first edition of the book on which this book is based on. I inherited it actually. [/b][/quote]
tealady, i've been thinking if getting that book (the original) since it was recently reprinted. tessaro's book made me really curious about it. do you reccomend it?

thanks to an older post here at FS,
i just started reading A.L.T. the autobiography of Andrè Leon Tally,
its well writen, modest and surprisingly enough... quite emotional for me.

A french book very interesting about trends and situation of fashion in 2004 :

sounds real interesting fujyn, thanks for mentioning :flower:
maybe i should give this a try next week :ninja:

At the moment I'm reading..

-(finishing) Lovely Bones
-Faerie Wars
-the 1st book in the His Dark Materials series
-(finishing)the 1st Artemis Fowl book
-Just Ella
-1984
-(just beginning)Jane Eyre
-(re-reading)the entire Harry Potter series (I'm on book 3, second last chapter)

I suppose that's all :flower: I like to read a lot of books at the same time.. I get bored easily, and reading a lot of books all at once helps me to finish them faster to make time for.. well, more books.

Did that make sense?

Makes sense to me. I usually read more than one book at a time because I'm a moody reader and like to move between texts.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by I forget, and I lent the book to a coworker!

It's sweet and cute and a little bit sad.

Yes, I do. It's obviously dated but a close reading of the text will yield timeless principles and if nothing else, it will get you thinking!

Right now I'm reading In The Beginning by Soviet-dissident Irina Ratushinskaya. It's a memoir of her youth in Soviet Russia. I'm also reading No Moment Too Small: Rhythms of Silence, Prayer, and Holy Reading by Norvene Vest.
