have you read his other book? savage detectives?
also, do you speak/understand spanish...?
i felt like that really handicapped me (my lack of spanish that is) while reading savage detectives so i resisted picking up 2666 despite the good reviews..
i liked savage detectives but had a really hard time getting through the latter portion.. or maybe middle portion... of it
