100 Años de soledad...yes, It's an awesome book Nader, I have read a lot of Garcia Marquez work at HS... ;)

100 Years is excellent, enjoy it.

I'm reading tons of lit. crit., but as far as actual literature goes...I just finished "Underworld" by Don DeLillo. Phenomenal.

In my humble opinion, it was drawn out, repetitive and without direction. :ninja:
Of course, there is a probability that I just did not understand it.
I am not discouraging anyone from reading it by any means - it is a distinguished Nobel Prize Winner!

Just read Martin Amis's "The Rachel Papers." Hysterical, in a very adolescent way (it was his first book).
 
The Picture of Dorian Gray, for the first time. Oscar Wilde is such an incredible author! Gorgeous, almost luxurious writing, if that makes any sense. And I keep laughing out loud too, which is nice...I think he may be my favourite writer. :blush:

ive got 100 years of solitude aswell but i still havent read it!!!
it seems too serious for my taste! lol
unless i get some good reviews soon, i dont think i will ever get around to reading it :blink:

has anyone read tuesdays with morrie ? or watched the movie?? it's wonderful and touchy :heart:

im currently re-readinf Tim Geary's EGO... all about fashion and models and designers :innocent:
