What Are You Reading?

I've read them all (my guilty pleasure) and found them entertaining. it's nice to have the character continuity.

Thanks, I'll check out some of the other book- I'll try to go in order b/c otherwise I get confused.

Meeyowsa, will it ruin it if I read R without having read all the ones in between? I'm not very far yet, so I could still put it down and go for an earlier one. What do you think?

I can't say for sure because I don't know if there is a shocking turn of events or reference to a prior event in "R" that would ruin the earlier ones for you. probably not. even if there is, you'd probably forget about it because there are so many to read. and Grafton does a good job of setting up Kinsey's character in each book that you don't need to read the earlier ones to appreciate this one. so I say go ahead and read "R" then go back and start with "A." have fun!

He is an amazing writer, the only thing that I had trouble with were the similar character names, had to keep checking the family tree to see who was who.

I haven't read it, but I've read The colonel doesn't have who writes to him (or something like that, I don't know how is the English title), book which is the story of one of the characters of 100 Years of solitude after a few years. I didn't like it so much, but I suppose you may like it if you are liking 100 years...
