Man, so many nice outfits, but I have to say my fav is probably droogist's junya top outfit. So nice. Maybe I'm biased  .

I actually had relatively interesting (I mean this objectively (I think) and entirely non-boastfully) outfits on at the weekend because it was cold:-

Sat.

Junya bright blue mountain jacket
Faded olive carpe diem sweatshirt
dark 45rpm jeans
beige cons

Sun

Navy CDGH+ coat with pink buttons and pink doublefaced interior
Navy polyester garment dyed polo top by CDGH+
White CDG Shirt tee
same jeans as above
Grey and pink CDGH+ trainers.

Very nice, Johnny, especially the Sat. outfit  I want to wear a coat too! Hell, I want to walk one block without soaking in sweat, is that too much to ask for? When will this madness stop??!!

Thanks Faust. I feel sorry for all you fashion conscious NYCers!! All I wore in the heat in Provence on my hols was jeans and a tee shirt, and I got sick of that quite quickly!

oh dear - have you tried using a water spray faust? I found that helped a lot.

I had a fashion crisis yesterday.

saturday I wore

*navy l/s top - petit bateau
*burgundy jersey tiered top with large round jersey rose in the centre of a very deep v - isabel marant
*skinny blue jeans - paul & joe
*pointy burgundy flats with cream stitching - marni
*burgundy duster coat - ? from Urban outfitters
*royal blue messeger bag with blue/white striped thick strap - bally

what burgundy marni flats?!?!?...

i think we need a SECRET secret shopaholics thread...

sounds lovely...burgundy...

LLOL!!!! had them for ages. they are super comfy. and very chic.

Water spray? No, but I like to walk right through the sprinklers on people's lawns on the way to the subway (yes, Manhattanites, people in Brooklyn have lawns, how about that? :D ).

Johnny, at 90% humidity here only lunatics wear jeans, so you were lucky in Provence :p

On topic:

Black mercerized cotton polo shirt - Prada (old faust's closet  )
Khaki flat front pants without front pockets - Margiela
Same ol' shoes (I need new everyday shoes) - Collection Privee

faust - sounds nice! get thee out & buy a bottle of avene or evain spray....NOW!

haha faust...
the other day my super had the hose out and was washing his car, so i asked him to 'hose me down'...

he basically made a 'sprinkler' for me to walk under...
yes people...we are desperate over here...!!

...

I know, it's been f-f-freezing! I had the same idea as you, but as it turns out, I didn't even have the option - my heating broke over the weekend! I didn't even have hot water. Damn Dutch weather. (And damn Dutch refusal to fix heaters on Sundays...)

edit: thanks faust and Quirk!

droogist - you look fantastic. I also tried to give you karma for the last outfit which was gorgeous too - I like how your clothes always seem very graphic in cut and colour. would you agree?

quirky - thanks I'll bear it in mind - what about Amsterdam - any stockists there? ...well maybe i'll start a thread in shopping....

its the same here in Scotland - its been autumn for the last two weeks now....hence my fashion crisis yesterday - summer/autumn? autumn/summer?

Thanks helena. I would agree indeed, my taste is clothing definitely runs towards the geometric. Sometimes I get bored though - I had a little clothing crisis of my own this morning and ended up ransacking my entire closet before finally falling back on the same old, same old.
