that top doesn not count as the shade of blue that makes us all go ...
it's not just ANY blue......that one is lovely in it's own way...but it's more grey, no?

My thoughts exactly Faust...theres only oh-so-much you can do when its 95-degrees outside..

Black straight-legged jeans (unwashed for fear of fading) from MiuMiu
Black Paul Smith button-up dress shirt..
Gray Cloak coat w/ military detailing (my infamous I-got-screwed-over coat)..
Black & gray ascot from some store here in Boston..
Black & gray plaid "Elmer Fudd" hat from Paul Smith (the kind w/ the doggy-ears
on the side)..
Black Shawn Leane wallet-chain (of course)..
White cigarette from Parliament..

I would've added black fingerless gloves from Marc by MarcJacobs, but when I looked in the mirror, I was like, "Oh no--too too much going on.."

If it was just a few degrees colder so I could floss a scarf...All in good time though..

Basically: found it @ a clothing store here in Boston a few mos. back, who shall remain nameless...brought it home...discovered one of the buttons in the back was missing...turned right back around & returned it to the store, 20 mins before closing...discovered the Spring '04 stamp on the label (AFTER paying full-price)...was hassled by sales-clerk 'cause said coat didnt have the standard "envelope" of extra buttons ("well, it has been sitting around somewhere for a WHOLE YEAR, did you expect the extra buttons to still be there?")...button was replaced by a button that looked similar, but still wasnt the same...in summary: paid full price for a jacket from 2 seasons ago that wasnt in the same condition as it was when first put on the sales-floor....still confused as to WHY it was still being sold anyways...Grrr! But, I love it regardless, so Im willing to overlook such s***
