hey Caffeine, I'm currently in Ann Arbor, Michigan (GO BLUE! yeah right ) for college, but Hong Kong is where I call home.

As for shopping, there's not a lot...since you're in Boston (I think you're in Boston?) you can probably take the drive over to NYC and get a whole lot more outta that. The designers available in Hong Kong aren't as varied and interesting as what you can find in NY, Paris, Tokyo, etc. And the items that the stores DO buy caters mostly to the local dress sense (i.e. a lot of the logo'd stuff, louder things that just aren't as tasteful or representative of a designer's aesthetic). Although there is a delicious Ann Demeulemeester knitted biker jacket in black available this season at the I.T. boutique that I'm eyeing.

Yeah I miss runner too, dude is one of my style icons here on this board. His clothes seem deceptively simple, yet so striking. runner also has an amazing eye for quality.

Boka, the plaid pants outfit is totally killer! The jacket/scarf/beads/shoes go great. The skirt/tights/converse combo is also great. What an entrance!

I should say yes, shouldn't I? Actually they are G-Star. A lot of their clothes fit me surprisingly well.

I love G-Star, i'm still wearin the untreated linen/denim wide-leg blue jeans I got at Barneys for like 15 bucks 5 years ago, all the time. Very fluid with a nice drape, goes well with the Yohji look

sonny, it's so strange how you mention fernando...i've actually played against him while he was with the spanish under 16's...we actually swapped shirts...i'll have to dig it out and take a picture...he's still at athletico madrid no? I must admit...he had the coolest mullet i've seen in a long time a year back...haha..usually i get labelled a becks wannabe..it's nice to have someone say something different...haha...i have to ask...isyour date of birth correct...there's no way your 13 years older than me...

i am afraid he (fernando) must look better these days though as he has become some sort of big footballer in Spain and such. he even made this campaign as a "model" for "Pepe jeans" and all.

and...unfortunately for me my date of birth on my profile is not wrong... i definitely was born in 1973... with the worldwise oil crisis thing and all... a sign of what my life would be like... ha, ha... and dont feel bad about your age here. i would give out both arms and legs to be your age again!B)

Besides... most of the ppl here were born in the 80's here or in the late 70's so no need to feel weird for that! it is me who should feel weird and too old here. .. but i try not to!

Oooh....I now feel slightly embarrassed that I *gasped* used a camera in the changing room! Topshop is the perfect changing room to use coz nobody is watching! Caffeine...it definitely is the thing to do....they send pics to their bf's for their approval and if it's a SMS yay.....off they go and buy away. Oh, and the flower was a brooch. It's from H&M! I was also wearing a small beaded necklace.
FTB Yeh, I'm in HK most summers (well apart from this one coz it was The Job Hunting Vacation in London....exciting stuff). I always love the men's stuff better in I.T. than the women's.....especially the one in the Silvercord Centre.
purex Dun worry....you're not alone. I always seem to be sitting on the tube across from someone with shiny shiny hair and it does make me stare for the journey....or it cud just be the lighting that makes it really shiny....I'm not sure! Oh, and to answer your question....I'm gonna have to give up my hair secret and say.....it's just cheapie Pantene. I don't blow-dry it either which probs keeps it in better condition.

yes, ruffles normally i don't wear clothes with ruffles, but surprisingly loved those!
