I completely agree with Johnny here, and thank you Curious for taking this up. :flower: I did not want to say anything, cause you know how Faust can just go off  . (BTW, I'm sorry, but Mrs. Faust accidentally deleted the Cloak jacket pic, so I'll take one again when I wear it :flower: )

Softgrey, I LOVE LOVE your rock-n-roll outfits. Will you put one together when we next meet, pretty please?!

Chris, love your outfit too. We gotta swap leather jackets for a month or so.

I will when we meet on the weekend (and it's high time we did, dammit!!).
Yes, they are, especially the last one when I saw you - but many times they are on the softer side (I guess it's because I haven't seen you in call weather in a long time).

I want dark/edgy/moody/agressive Softgrey :woot: B) :mowhawk:

I'm wearing:

Cream wrapdress from TopShop
Black blazer from Zara
Gold chain
Gold brooch
Gold earrings with green pearls from Accessorize
Stilettoes

but that was directed at faust...

;)

Thanks for the lovely comments about my trench from ftb, INTER, sonny, analog, clavdia, utopida, Maraschin0, tangerine, Hebden, Urd, avantster
wire.artist I  that Surface2Air t-shirt! Loved the way you dressed down the suit with it.
Tinetush Love how you rock H&M.
Chanel Take it as a compliment if you're getting the attention of bored drivers!
softgrey You and Chris look so good in your leather jackets!
urd Keep the necklaces on! I love simple outfits with lots of jewellery....I think it's really dramatic.
Clavdia I love your outfit! It's very 60's in a good way.
TrophyBrown Those patent Ferragamos are very cute. Nice magazine style listing there. :D
idapompida A very unique jacket...especially the ruching at the back.
Hebden Your wardrobe is very enviable. Just a great mix of high street and designer. I especially love that Westwood purse.
sonny Beautiful poses. And surprisingly I love that print jacket (usually not keen on animal prints).
ftb Glad you're not hungover! ;) Those DH pants sound really nice! A shame that the FTB Photo era was so short-lived.

So it's Dress Down Friday. Was gonna really slum it in jeans and trainers my fave pair was in the wash. Chanel & FtB - You're not the only ppl doing repeat outfits... have not really shopped in ages.

Another changing room pic....was in Gap just to try on their skinny jeans....check out the skinny jean thread for my critique.
H&M scarlet stretchy top
Cacharel floral vest top
Cacharel red tweed skirt
Black wooly tights (My armor against the winds)
Green tweed flats from i.t. (HK)

Now where have I worn that before.........:innocent:

I'd love to switch for the Cloak jkt........but it would come back smelling like an ashtray;)

hey guys......guess what........Soft is HOT too:brows:

Hebden - looking good! great to see you posting pic.

Chris - I love beat up shoes! I think actually I was asking you about your vintage tux jacket. You and Softie always look cool!

Fade - Want to see a pic of your Issey cardigan! sounds cool! and there's nothing wrong with your style and nothing wrong about wearing repeated outfit! Repeated outfit means it's a darn cool outfit that you are not shy of wearing it again and again! :muscles:

Faust - any pic of this outfit? want to see your Poell turtleneck!

Sussie - I thought you were taking pic in the elevator when I first saw your photo!

I can only agree that everyone looks utterly stunning!

Party tonight; (I'm late actually, but who isn't? ^_^ )

Blue silk dress w bronze thin ribbons
Black pirate/riding boots

Ps. I can't seem to attach pictures properly, sorry

style is about how you wear it....not what label you're wearing:flower:

today's outfit is merely a repeat.....but I pulled an old burgandy leather jkt with braid detail on the pockets that I bought for $3 at a thrift ;) that totally rocks!!!

wire.artist--I love that S2A tshirt.........reminds me of that Undercover scarf that I will never be able to get my hands on

clavdia--If you think we looked like rock stars........you should have seen us dancing:bounce:

I tried that undercover scarf in L'eclarieur Paris:heart: , it´s one of the most beautiful thing I've seen.

I am soooooooooo jealous.........nobody in NY bought it from what I've been told..............but it's prolly better that way because I'm sure it is far too much for my Amex to handle;)

clavdia, totally love your polka-dotted ruffled dress ... it reminds me of a dress my mother had with ruffles down the front.

FtB, I think it's really positive that you're being honest about your feelings here. You're not the only one to think, I can't compete in this thread. I'm sure a few people thought I was nuts when I posted my last new outfit ... but yeah, I'm excited because that's most of the stuff I'm buying for fall, so I may not have much more to say for 6 months ;) I really do want a small, manageable wardrobe that I can get my hands around. I collect other stuff in a big way, and don't need or want a huge wardrobe, especially in an old house that doesn't have huge closets :flower: But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy this thread B) There's lots of ways to participate. And btw, fwiw, I think you're a great looking guy--tall with a very striking look, what's not to love ;)

So here's what I'm wearing today ... I took my (blue merle) dog to be a guinea pig for graduating TTouch students, and she fully "accessorized" me ;) Of course I was reminded of the discussion on this thread when I walked in & immediately people commented that we matched ...

black ls v-neck T (organic cotton, Patagonia)
ivory/black cow print capris (Dana Buchman)
black suede Mary Jane clogs (Merrell)--also fully "accessorized"--these are my dog shoes ... the shoes I wear to the dog park & the ones I use when I have to wander out into the yard in the dark :p
the usual silver grey keshi pearl hoops (Ten Thousand Things)

I guess what I'm sayin' is, yeah, clothes are important & all, but there's more to life ;) Learning to be content with what you've got is a beautiful thing. "All you have is all you need."

SEXY ^_^

pigling, that picture is ultra sexy...
Susie, where did you take that picture?;) I like the layering look:heart:

Ida, that jacket is very cute.
hebden, I like red/black contrast a lot. YOu wore it so well.
Sonny, it is sexy as usual. Apparently you use eye liners very well. I tried and failed for countless times then I eventually gave up:p
