I went a little nutso today in SoHo. I stupidly shopped while depressed, so I may very well return some items. But, I don't have ANY summer clothes. I moved to NY in the winter, and left all of my summer clothes in CA. DESPITE wanting to stick to a clear plan with my next purchases (a la 3-4 French Wardrobe), I threw all that out the window in favor of bright, patterned pieces that could ONLY work in summer. Jeez. I need an intervention.

Sunshine & Shadow tiered blue dress from UO
Levi lighter wash shorts
A Madewell small fringe camel-brown purse (probably will return; I don't love it)
and an awesome Eryn Birnié silk sleeveless top that has pink slashes and small black stars chaotically placed on it.

I went into A.P.C. and almost died of jealousy. So many great Parisian summer looks. Bah. I wish I was, y'know, rich. I am very not. I shouldn't have even went on my lil' craze today. Sigh.

$700 louis vuitton monogram macassar long wallet for $110!

how you ask? well, lv messed up on the repair of my 4 year old conspiration gm sunglasses twice. that means it was out for service for approximately 4 months! without me even complaining, the rep called me yesterday and apologized and said that she'd be happy to give me a full refund (at current retail which is $130 more than what i paid 4 years ago) of the glasses and the repair. so instead of pocketing the cash, i applied the $590 as credit to said wallet above.

who buys back 4 year old sunglasses @ current retail prices?? apparently lv does...
