What do you class as a low/medium & high heel?

I work with a few tall women (Im no giant really, 5'5 or there-abouts). In particular a couple of them are about 5'10 and wear 4" heel knee length boots.

Makes them about the tallest people in the whole place but I dont hear about anyone complaining ;)

I don't think that's weird. I like tall women who show their height with confidence, and especially when they are bigger than me..

So if you like your heels don't stop wearing them only because men are smaller than you!

It seems that there are many tall women who have a problem with that. Some even sell their nice shoes on *bay because of their new boyfriend then, which I find rather sad

Oooh, I would never go so far as to do that! My boyfriend of two years is 6'3", fortunately, so heels around him aren't an issue.

A trip to the doctor's today told me that I am actually 5'9". Which explains even more why I feel so tall in heels around men. I wear heels nearly everyday, because I love them. It feels weird, but it sure isn't stopping me. I hope every taller woman feels that way...

low...2''
medium...3'' or 4''
high...5''
too high...6'' or more

With enough practice 6 inches are not too high anymore.
I assure you great reactions by your bf when managing such stilettos ;-)

With enough practice even 6 inches become not too high.
I assure you great results and reactions with your bf when you manage such stilettos ;-)

I think a 1-2.5 is low, greater than 2.5-3 is medium, anything abov three classified as high. I guess I have a strange definition compred to the rest of you, but that's how I see it.

How tall are all of you? I most often wear a 4" heel, but at 5'8" that makes me taller than a lot of the men I'm around, which is a bit weird.

I'm exactly the same height and I have the exact same weird problem! But I'd never give up my heels :flower:

More practice or more foot?

With enough practice! I don't know about practice, I think I need more foot! I'm a UK 5/EUR 38.

I  heels but made a slight miscalculation on my last pair, they turned out to be 5 inches and my feet are almost vertical in them. If they were any higher I would think there would be space between my heel and the inside of the shoe.

It's interesting to read that I'm not the only one whose feet hurt more in mid level shoes than highs.

Why would it ever be?
