Marie Antionette Sofia Coppola
Broken Flowers Jim Jarmusch
Match Point Woody Allen
2046 Wong-Kar Wai (I could see it now, but i'll hold out for the big screen)
Sarabande Ingmar Bergman
The Fantastic Mr. Fox Wes Anderson and Henry Selick
The Science of Sleep Michel Gondry
Memoirs of A Geisha Rob Marshall
Elizabethtown Cameron Crowe
and for some god forsaken reason (probably Scarlett)
The Island Michael "Armegeddon" Bay

Indeed.

^ i know! i saw a trailer for the island last night, and i really want to see it now, despite michael "Pearl harbour" Bay.

there so many films coming out that sound great! i wonder which ones will work...

i am especially excited by The Brothers Grimm ( terry gilliam is one of my favourite directors) and the Science of sleep (does anybody know if charlie kaufman wrote the screenplay? i think he wrote both eternal sunshine and human nature)

another film i really curiuos about is The Proposition. i cant remember the director's name, but it is written by Nick Cave (of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who did the music for, and appeared in, Wings of Desire), and stars Guy Pierce and Emily Watson

no problemo. credit aintitcoolnews B) btw, there are some trailers up at

The Rum Diary
directed by Benicio Tel Doro
starring Benicio Tel Doro, Johnny Depp, Josh Hartnett, Nick Nolte
Based on Hunter S. Thompson's classic The Rum Diaries is about love, treachery and lust amid the palm tree-lined setting of San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the 1950s.

:o  Holy crap, I've been waiting for this film for so long that I already forgot that I'm still waiting for it  . Thanks for reminding me. Have you read the book? It's excellent.

i liked eternal sunshine more. i thought human nature was thought provoking, but i thought it was more concerned with conveying an idea than engaging the audience through the story. i would have preferred to read an essay written by kaufman (i think he wrote the script) that dealt with the themes to watching the film adapted from his screenplay. i loved eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

i think kaufman wrote human nature and eternal sunshine (as well as spike jones' adaptaion and being john malkovich) so i wonder if he wrote the screenplay for the new film.

i would look forward to anything he writes
