My best piece is a below the knee black cashmere skirt from kiton. I picked it up earlier this year at Filenes Basement for the bargain price of $120. I love this skirt so much...

Day- I love a pair of jeans I bought in NYC in Oct' 04
They are sort of trashy looking and have rhinestones on the belt loops.
Someone even told me they are traffic spoting (best spent $160)

Evening- A Eli Tahari black backless top I bought @ Saks about 2 yrs. ago (again, best spent $350)

For top, my favorite basic of the moment is probably my navy crewneck sweater that may or may not (most likely not) be Prada.

For bottom, I like my Levi's 501 jeans that are creased on the thigh, knees and ankles with subtle fading on various places in the jeans.
