Over the moon with both of these purchases. The lipstick is long lasting without being drying and a beautiful colour, and the eyeshadows are versatile, highly pigmented and blend together and compliment each other perfectly. Ideal for every day wear at the office as I'm a lawyer and don't feel comfortable having too strong of a makeup look when meeting clients etc. I like to keep things understated yet professional, and both of these products are great in that regard.

Next up on my list of beauty purchases are some new brushes and a blush for every day wear. I'm making the most of this new found money from my first ever full-time job!

Today I got myself some Clarins Instant Lip Perfector - lovely pink hue that goes well with my complexion - also has a delicious taste. Also got Clarin's Be Long Intense Black Mascara - I just had to get a decent mascara...

I'd love to hear how the macara is

Well, it's intensely black and it really enhances the lashes more than the cheap L'Oreal mascara I got recently did. It's not really flashy, but rather gives an intense definition. Since I have light blue eyes with a dark ring at the brim of the iris and rather long lashes, this is precisely what I want. Definition rather than overwhelming volume. Before this one I had another Clarins mascara that had a thin tip so that you can get to the inner lashes easily. I guess I should have gotten that one again, really, since I do appreciate being able to get to all the lashes.

I also find that it doesn't smear easily, even though it is not water proof, and it comes off fairly easiy using eye make-up remover.
