What Skin Care Did You Use Today?

I tried out the 3LAB line that my SA gave me when I went in.
Used 3LAB h serum
3LAB WW eye cram
3LAB WW Cream

The serum and cream were good but the verdict is still out on the eye cream. A little drying, just like the Revive eye cream. Anyone else try 3LAB?

Cleaned with the Dior make0p remover and the SK eye makeup remover.

I saw this morning on the Barney's flyer that NB had a gentle toner. Was thinking about trying that. Anyone tried it?

I didnt like 3Lab. I found it too drying, like you said.

The NB Gentle toner is the Sensitive toner I'm assuming, and it's lovely.

Which ReVive eye cream are you speaking of? I love ReVive's Sensitif Repair and Moisturizing Renewal Cream, and their Microdermabrasion, and of course the Intensite Volumising Serum, which is the most expensive product I have (retails for $600...I use it like gold :lol:)

AM
Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Milk
Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner
Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream (First day I tried it. Great stuff. My skin is pleased with it!)

PM
Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Milk and Facial Toner

AM
Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleanser
Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner
La Roche Posay Toleriane
Shiseido Anessa Sunscreen

PM
Bioderma Crealine H20
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Make-Up Remover
Mario Badescu Botanical Cleansing Gel
Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner
Jurlique Calendula Cream

Such random products. Been on this routine for a couple weeks now and my skin seems to be getting better?!

I had samples and threw them out. Now that I know how expensive they are, I would have held onto them. is the NB gentle toner the best toner, in your opinin?

Yes, I love it. It's so soothing.

miu_miu uses it too, probably more than I do. B)

Are you in Dallas? Just ask because of your talk about Barneys. :D

Today

Sisley Express Flower Gel Mask
La Prairie Cellular Softening and Balancing Lotion

How's the NB Sensitive and their Lightening toners?? Any good? I'm interested in the lightening one, to be honest!

PM yesterday:
BioDerma Sensibio H20
Cetaphil for oily skin cleanser with Shiseido cleansing & massage brush
Clarins whitening toner
Dermalogica Skin Refining Mask
Dermalogica Hydrating Gel mask
Evian atomiser to remove gel mask
Talika eye therapy patch (15 minutes)
La Prairie anti-pigmentation cream
Talika eye dream (I love this brand. Their products are so effective and are no-nonsense!)

I didnt know Clarins had a whitening toner! :o Is it relatively new? Is it Bright Plus line? And what is this La Prairie Anti-Pigmentation Cream? I wonder if its just available in Europe and Asia, since whitening/lightening products are so big there?

I used to use a lot of lightening skincare, and I'm already very fair-skinned, so I just got really white. I used Clarins Bright Plus line, and Shiseido and some SK-II.

I havent used NB's lightening toner but I have used the Lightening Serum Complex and its marvelous!

Whitening is HUGE in Asia (I come from Singapore), yeah. It's called White Plus HP Hydrating Whitening Aqua-milk. Clarins whitening line is fantastic! I've got their whitening serum which works very well. Their White Plus Renewing Exfoliator is particular fabulous!!

My mum bought the anti-pigmentation cream a little while back, and I'm using it because she bought a couple of new ones from Sisley... And yes, she got it from Singapore as well.
:)

Natura Bisse Sensitive Toner is nice, very calming & refreshing. Another really good one for sensitive skin is Darphin Intral Toner - I repurchased this recently because I got a good deal on a large bottle. I think both are great products and excellent value for money.

[vogue], I haven't used the Bliss product but from what I've read, I don't think they're comparable. NB Oxygen Mask is, to me, a product best used on clear skin to keep it clear & bright - it doesn't seem to have any immediate effect on existing blemishes etc. If you like Bliss, keep using it! The Stabilizing Mask I mentioned is clay based, it can be used as a cleanser or a mask. It can be really drying though, so you have to be careful but wow, it's such an incredible product! It makes your skin feel really clean and gives real glow to your skin, just as if you'd had a facial.

Must use it tonight B)

I wonder if anyone can help me here. Only recently i have been looking though some photos such as models street style and notice how 'fresh' and 'clean' there faces look these are the best words I really describe it with. Does anyone know how to achieve this or is that why they are the models?! I think maybe foundation will help your skin look more flawless but I dont have much experience with that.

miu, you are absolutely tempting me to get the stabilizing mask, but I should get samples and try it out first - my skin's feeling a little dry recently, and I always had combination to oily skin.

What skin type is the Darphin Intral toner for? I'm thinking of the Decleor Brightening toner - sounds really good, and I used a sample recently - makes my skin hydrated and brightens it slightly. And it smells damn good!

^empaulio, I think everybody here would recommend exfoliating, which is key, as it removes the dull & dead skin cells, blackheads and improves the skin texture. Definitely exfoliate! A good cleansing routine would also help in making your skin look 'fresh and clean'. I like Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant (which is a very gentle daily exfoliator).

Foundation is fine, but I reckon that tinted moisturizer might be better if you're younger, as it'll allow your real skin to peek through, and you'll just be enhancing your skin tone and not masking it. I love Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer (also available in oil free, and the coverage is medium) mixed with a bit of MAC Strobe Cream for more dewiness. If you need a lighter coverage, Shiseido The Skincare Tinted Moisturizer is a personal favourite too.

Today AM:
Splash of cool water
Clarins Morning Aqua Essence with vitamins
Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel
La Prairie eye caviar eye gel
Dermanano intensive moisturizing cream
Cetaphil UVA/UVB SPF50 sunscreen

Thanks [Vogue] for your quick reply, i shall have to try a tinted moisturizer :flower:

Darphin Intral Line is really nice. It's for sensitive skin. I've used the Intral Mask and Intral Cream. I loved the mask. It was soooo hydrating and soothing.

I have been using Zirh for the past couple weeks and I have to say I can see an improvement in my skin. I don't think I will use Cetaphil ever again.

I must go get samples of the Intral mask.

The only cetaphil I will use is the one I get from my derm. The normal blue one from drug stores is just awful.

empaulio, you can ask LTEC skin-related questions. He's the real expert!
