is this Caudalie Beauty Elixir any good? I've been thinking on getting it, is it used instead of toner?
They call it a half-toner/half-serum. From Nordstrom.com

The original formula was created for Queen Isabelle of Hungary as an elixir of youth. This half-toner, half-serum mist is filled with essential oils and rare plants, giving an instant boost to the complexion. Lines are smoothed, pores minimized and the skin is left looking radiant. The effectiveness of moisturizer applied afterward is increased.

  • <LI class=styleFeatures1>Paraben-free. <LI class=styleFeatures1>Ingredients. <LI class=styleFeatures1>3.8 oz.
  • By CAUDALIE; made in France.

thank you for information :flower: do you think it would be good for combination/oily skin?

I use the 3 step Clinique products but I am not really happy with it. I want to go try out something that is more organic. I feel like all those chemicals you put on your face can't possibly be good for you. Does anyone have any good recommendations on organic skincare?

Forgot to take my makup off, came home at 4 in the morning :ninja:

I was not satisfied with the 3 step clinique products either, and switched to Dr Hausckha products. For me they have been a godsend, such a difference to the clinique range, far more gentle on skin. There is a thread about Dr Hauschka here: http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f45/dr-hauschka-organic-skincare-22890-11.html

Oh..sorry.

to clarify on the Caudalie Beauty Elixir....

Its good for all skin types. I use it as my toner. It actually helps to soften and smooth skin....and adds radiance to the skin. I can't live without it.

LETC - Im using the Micofoliant AS my cleanser...that is what its intended for I was told by the ethestician. It actually foams up really well, and leaves my skin feeling very clean and soft.

I use a more gentle cream cleanser at night though.

Dermalogica Essential Cleansing Solution
Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner
Origins No Puffery eye masque as a moisturizer
Nuxe Creme Etincelante

@Cake: yeah. that order. i dont overly care about my skin. when we meet at some point, you can gimme your verdict on my skin  but don't forget my skin's asian. it's tougher and less prone to aging than caucasian skin.

besides, the main reason why i use Clarins before the Lab is because the Clarins leaves a thin lipid film, which i then wash away with the Lab.

for shaving i use Clarins Men Shave Ease, it's a shaving oil. best thing about it is that unlike shaving gel/creme, you don't need to reapply when you go at it a second time. afterwards i just wash with water and pat dry. leaves the skin feeling soft. hardly any razor burn. i get for dirt cheap too.

actually, i like to think of myself as low maintenance

Sorry but I shudder at the thought of your routine on my fragile skin. And Asian skin is sensitive too! I have many Asian clients.

Eucerin Everyday Protection SPF 30 Moisturizer. I looove it because it feels really, really lightweight (even under make-up) but still gives me really good UVA + UVB protection. I think Eucerin moisturizing products are a godsend.

Not too many things to be honest. i have this polishing gel from Chanel that is amazing so i use that and toner three times a week and moisturise with this molton brown dream stuff, 24 hr moitrue lock i think it's called, I just realised all my skincare stuff are gifts lol
