Can anyone recommend a good exfoliant? Preferably something that's available in most European department stores or pharmacies. I'm going back to scrubs because my skin just doesn't take well to non-abrasive peels, even though I used a very mild formula. I have combo, moderately sensitive skin (not completely intolerant but many formulas sting and irritate me), so I need something that's not too harsh, but not too puny either.

...Yeah, I know I'm demanding.

Biotherm Aquasource NonStop - I just love it, so light....

Gasoline Rainbow - I use Origins Microdermabrasion which I think would be too harsh for your sensitive skin. I have heard good things about L'Occitane and they have lovely ranges for sensitive skin so it could be worth checking out?

My purchases yesterday were a bit of an impulse buy. I was passing by the Bliss counter and they had a promotion on. I got 20ml of the Youth As We Know It cream, full size Youth As We Know It serum and a one third size of their Triple Oxygenating Face mask for €42 (approx. $54). I have the full size of the mask already and like it so I said I'd give them a shot! Especially as one of my serums had run out and the YAWKI serum retails at €62 here normally!. Tried them last night and this morning and so far am happy with them. They do feel lovely on.

Also got the Chanel fluid sunblock SPF50. Cause even in the murky Irish weather I need full coverage!

Do you have try the "Yes to carrots" body scrub ? It's only avalaible in Sephora, and I love it. I just buy it again this morning. I've started months ago, and it let my skin smooth and something near to flawless :D
And it works for sensitive skin, my sister use it too, and she probably has the most sensitive skin ever.

^ I will look for it. Does the brand also make a face scrub? I'll also check out Biotherm and L'Occitane, thank you.

Yes :smile: And I haven't said it, but there is no paraben, it's totally natural ! I think it's pretty great ! I hope you'll find the best one for you :wink:

GasolineRainbow Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Refiner is a very nice gentle grainy 'scrub' (hate that word, because I cringe at anyone scrubbing their face) exfoliant. Check it out.

Today I got the Evian Brumisateur Travel set of 3 for my plane trip tomorrow morning.

And Erno Laszlo HydrapHel Skin Supplement, which is an alcohol-free toner.

^Thanks for the rec, LTEC. I mostly use the Avene or Evian spray as a toner to get rid of excess grime without adding ingredients to my skincare routine. I've heard it's good to use on a plane, but do you then lock it in with moisturizer? It seems that if I use it on its own, then my skin gets dryer after it evaporates. Idk, is it just in my head?

The SA at La Prarie persuaded me to try their Emulsion Anti-Age.

I usually use their Smart Cellular Cream though, and I love it, so I'm not sure if I'll like this one as much, it does have a higher spf though, we'll see...

Alverde Rose toner (finally!)
Alverde shower cream Lavender-bergamot
Balea shower pilling
Alverde foundation with mineral pigments

Currently I m on a Huge Mario Badescu Spree, this is what I bought recently:

* Buffering Lotion
* Acne Facial Cleanser
* Special Cucumber Lotion

Its doing good for my skin!

Can you tell me what the buffering lotion has in it? Is is good for oily skin that is prone to occasional break-out's?

i diddnt buy it today, but just recently i bought the vitamin C essential night cream from MURAD. its supposed to be anti aging, but it works really well for me ( and im a teenager).

I just bought via strawberry.net:
Special Cleansing Gel by Dermatologica
Exfoliating brightening mask by Biotherm
Biosource toner for Dry skin by Biotherm
and Moisturizing Day Cream by Dr. Hauschka

and I got for free this Stila make-up thing, does anyone know this label? Is it ok?

On the whole, Stila is a really good makeup brand. Of course they have their hits and misses, like any brand. What is your freebie?

Actually I bought it on Friday...

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser... I 'm really happy with it so far. My skin actually feels moisturised after using it. The grains are tiny.. to me it feels similar to the L'Oreal microdermabrasion exfoliator, but without nasty chemicals.
