I want a nice backpack for school, but don't know where to find one. I'm thinking of a army-ish cloth material backpack. I've seen shoulder sling ones like that but those styles always hurt my shoulders, since i have so many text books to carry.
Does anyone have any ideas on stylish bags for school?

I just have a black North Face one. I holds a lot and I too carry many books around. A lot of kids at my school have them. i havnt really tried anything else. So I would recomend that.

puma makes sturdy backpacks... they hold alot of sports gear and school books and come in lots of different colors, and sizes

I own several backpacks incl. Nike, Jansport, Obus Forme, Miu Miu and some no name brands from HK

Personally, I find Obus Forme the most sturdy AND comfortable. Nothing is more important than a comfortable backpack, and I, too carry textbooks and my laptop around campus which is EXTREMELY heavy!

I suggest Obus Forme, cheap, sturdy, comfy and they have many styles so I'm sure you might find one you like (dunno about the camo pattern though)

Hope this helps!;)

APC has some really nice looking backpacks.. They're $100+ though, and I'm not sure of the quality.

Jansport, though plain looking, has a lifetime warranty for their backpacks, and will replace one that is broken: http://jansport.com/js_warranties.php

Triple Five Soul makes bags with army-inspired materials. I have a khaki backpack from them that's sturdy, comfortable, and different from the standard Jansport. You can find 555 soul at their website, karmaloop, and ebags if you're interested.
