Which Designer Would You Never Like To Wear?

I concur with your list, and I would like to add Marc Jacobs.

I'd never wear Versace and Dsquared, it's just not me at all, I find the designs pretty awful. Also I find Donna Karen uninspiring and would never dress myself in such tripe calvin klien ralph lauren also, just so uninspired and dull to me. UI wouldn't wear escada, it just seems so souless to me.

There are plenty more designers I wouldn't wear, I just can't think of the top of my head, I'll get back to this thread when I've thought of some more.

P.s I probably wouldn't wear Cavalli, but there are some nice pieces occasionally (one of the jackets this season was rather nice, i thought) , I wouldn't rule it out completely, but its usually pretty tacky.

I don't think that there are many designers that you can completely rule out ever wearing. Most designers do make a nice piece one in a while, even if most of their line is absolute garbage. I always said i'd never wear Marc Jacobs, but then i bought a pair of his jeans last week. (maybe i'm just fickle) :D

I would have to agree about Andrew Mackenzie and Burberry Classic though, I don't see me ever wearing them.

I wouldn`t wear:

-Andrew Mackenzie (because of that vulgar Men`s Show)
-Calvin Klein (because the clothes have no cut and it`s a "SO YESTERDAY" 90s brand)
-Versace (because Madonna advertises it and I can`t relate to old women who are trapped in weird Cults)

I'm starting to warm to Calvin Klein just because it is "so yesterday." But I really don't care much for its designs.

St. John. Roooobish print adverts! And Kelly Gray has two dogs named Dolce & Gucci ... and i don't think it is with even a smidge of irony.

versace, dior, and tommy.
versace and dior are just too "diva" for my taste, and tommy because well...i just don't like it.

I also wouldn`t wear Missoni because I hate Knitwear with a passion and Margarita Missoni pretends to be so "simple & natural" that it`s already pretentious again...:yuk:

No Stella McCartney because I don`t support these PETA Extremists...and her Designs look "Fleamarket-cheap" mostly...

No Heatherette because I`m not an "exotic bird on Extasy".

No Tommy Hilfiger or Michael Kors because I`m not a Prep (or a total bore).

Exellent list!! I agree w/ you, except I like Chanel :ninja:.

I'll add Armani and Michael Kors.

If I was a girl, I'd definitely add Julien McDonald to my list. He should be shot for his last collection.

The way he cut the speedos is just tasteless, I can tell that at least one of the models is Jewish.

There aren't any designers that I can honestly say that I would never give a chance, but there would be some apprehension in me wearing Heatherette (I'm not a club kid. At all.) DSquared (I'm not into the expensive-costumey-trailer trash thing) or Balenciaga (I like the clothes just fine, and would wear them if given to me, but the clothes are sooo overpriced).

Anything to flashy like: Roberto Cavalli, Iceberg, D&G, Dsqueerd2 and Julien McDonald, and I would never wear any overly 'logod' things by Dior or Louis Vuitton.

I agree with Hanne...Escada is seriously bad.

Cavalli
Zac Posen
Badgley Mischka
Kenneth Cole
Narciso Rodriguez
Diane Von Furstenberg..

:innocent:

the first thing that comes to mind is dsquared. never never never! it's not design.

/\ Come on Mullet, I could see you draped all over in fake leopard skin!

one can only aspire to such a glamorous lifestyle, faust. :(
