White Pants S/S 07

Some will probably not consider this a real trend since white is a summery colour but the white pants (and shorts, but mostly pants) are bigger than usual this summer.. I'm seeing more and more of this on the streets than I have past years

I Bought a pair yesterday that looks like the left one from Adam + Eve.

At Fornarina, we have some white denim pants that are pretty cute.

But white pants/slacks are usually hard to sell because either the pockets or the back is almost transparent, especially if you are darker skinned. And the pleats, pockets, seams, will stay white, while you can almost see through the rest. Unless you are gonna find a thick fabric, I dont think any style will look particularly good. When I think of white pants, I think of Bianca Jagger.

I can accept wide leg, straight leg, or baggy styles when done right; but I can not imagine wearing them without a stain after an hour. Somethimes they look very summery and clean, just too high maintanance. I hate skinny legs, and white jeans in general.

I love white pants! White is the new black I say. I bought a pair of white skinny jeans from Cheap Monday few months ago and I have wore them all the time. They make an outfit to look more unusual than black jeans.
