The little white dress S/S 07

What shoes/sandals do you ladies suggest to wear in the city? Not heels as it lookd quite wrong in summer imo... I need suggestions to make the 'white dress' seem new.

Please?

just me / I think anything goes! For non-heeled options, try little thong lace-up sandals (on the left), jeweled t-bar flats, or even converse hi-tops!
I personally don't like the idea of pairing little white dresses with beach flip flops or cowboy boots :ninja:

+ are these little Pucci mules adorable or what?

I love the pucci ones, it's a great way to add a bit of action to the outfit

My favourite look for casual white dresses is with gladiator sandals, but I also think chunkier, sturdy heels make a nice contrast against the white, such as these Derek Lam

Yes I do like that kind of contrast, since white dresses do look simple no matter how much detail you put into it

I love chunky heels with pretty and cute dresses

I know the trend has blown over but ... I still say you can't go wrong with classic ballet flats (Repetto or similar) in a strong color, preferably black
... Any kind of black shoes will make it look edgy, as long as they don't look shabby - they have to be very chic. I'm a big fan of the black / white combo.

I'd go for black masculine shoes, like these dancing shoes. Gives the LWD some edge!

I think that wood is the answer for shoes. I don't even think that it has to be chunky, but it looks so pretty and natural. (See Marc Jacobs S/S 07 for examples)
