Winter Whites

So who would have thunk it.

I don't know about everyone else's side of the world but in Canada (mainly Montreal) the colour white just won't die this season!

Usually around September you notice all of the retail stores packing away their white clothes and bringing out the fall winter colours of brown, pink, beige, and so forth but this year white is staying.

What do you think of this trend? I personally love it. I have a wedding to attend in January and I just bought a white three piece courdy suit. Depending on the weather I will either wear the skirt or the pants.

But I love how white is staying!

I also love white in the winter. I just got a "winter white" shirt and it is actually an off white instead. I like pure white better

I love white for all seasons...but for me, white is still more springish and summerish than anything.
I have a few select pieces of white stashed in my wardrobe for the colder months, but I prefer my blacks and navy items.

i like the freshness of white in winter but i could never do the all white look myself.

white fake chanel jackets are flying out of the local Zara stores
streetwear look is white jackets with jeans, small white pieces and lots of yohji-style high white boots

btw i wouldn't mind a white under the knee coat .. perfect for customising

I have a wicked pair of white pants in my closet but I'm always afraid to where them out.

White is so hard to keep white!

I am going to take my suit to get some sort of protectant put on it before I actually wear it out to the wedding.

And the day I wear it, I'm going to need a bib. For some reason I can't seem to make fork to mouth contact when I am all dressy. LOL I think I get nervous looking extremely girlie.

I just bought myself a beautiful white coat for this winter, I can't wait to wear it!
