WSJ Magazine December 2019/January 2020 : Dwayne Johnson by Alasdair McLellan

Alasdair's work is very nostalgic. His shots seems to be set in the late 80s and early 90s (and Hugo Comte is his continuation in that timeline). I'm a sucker of everything he does.

This looks like something The Rock would jokingly Instagram on Easter Sunday, not a December WSJ Magazine cover.

Cute chicks, but his connection to the animals doesn't strike me as sincere or cute. It all looks very superficial and staged, which pretty much sums up this guy. He doesn't have personality, he doesn't have charisma nor wit, and he comes across as someone who never read a book in his entire life. How this guy got to where he is beggars belief.
Also, skin looks very Trump-ish so that's another dealbreaker for me.

Maybe it's time for WSJ to get a collective thread like M Le Monde.....

Kristina’s WSJ used to be so good. A must for me. Now I just get the digital only. Something happened in 2019 and it wasn’t good.
