Rather supreme (even if held together by GorillaGlue…)

The ragtag/mishmash of clashing concepts and juxtapositions are so effortlessly executed. The fusing of formal/casual, refined/trash, sleek/ugly (and the denim is so ugly…) is masterfully offered. And so refreshing to see a brand whose menswear is as strong as the women’s when shown together— unlike Lemaire’s: Whose menswear offering is utterly forgotten and so meek next to the women’s— why showcase your pure strength next to your blatant weakness unless it’s self-sabotage...

I’d like to think that had Demna’s Vetements made the effort instead of trolling the fashion victimz for easy sell, this would be the level of sophisticated high concept street that he would have evolved too. Maybe I’m being too generous to him, I just hate it when genuine talent chooses to sell out to laziness for a quick fortune and fleeting fame.

This label is too good for this basic era in fashion, frankly.
