this collection lacks the inspiration of his fall/winter collection, but it puts forward very classic yohji pieces. he's definitely playing it safe this season.

But I have to point out. Even these style.com images are IMAGES in themselves. What Yohji puts forth, every season with his guys' stuff really stays with you. It's almost like he visits a street in his imagination and takes all these men who walk his world and puts them in a fashion show in "our" world.
I suppose what I'm trying to say, is that it's a feat to do that in the context of contemporary fashion. I believe these pictures; that these men are real. There is nothing aspirational about them.
