YSL Dada Pumps

these look amazing if done right, but they seem to look very "heavy" and "bulky" when alot of people wear them.

I was so disappionted. I headed to the nearest YSL concession to check the dada's out and they didn't have any just old OLD shoes and the SA's didn't even know what I was talking about. I'll prob. just end up waiting for the sales though as YSL shoes never seem to sell here.

I've decided to pass on these...bought two pairs of high heeled MJ shoes instead...feel I'll get a lot more wear out of them and they won't "wear" me.

Sorry for the OT...but Meg for me Chloe is the most painful shoemaker there is. i have two pairs of flats ( the paddington mocassins in tan and the cute black pointy ones with gold...thingies... and they both KILL,even though I've been wearing them in around the house all winter and they're definitely the right size.

These MJ's are so comfy .

Hmmm...back on-topic...are the Dada's comfy?

yeah the dadas are really comfy. I love them. One of my fav shoes I have! So interesting and fun!

boo. when i was sneaking in a shoe shop at selfridges (see the Lanvin and louboutin thread, lol) I went up to the shoe level to finally see the beloved dada's and the selection was a bit crap. I decided I like the slingbacks better than the fullback but they only had the bronze slingback and I wanted the gold. and I couldn't even try the gold fullback's on because the smallest size they had was a 38.5 (and i'm a 36.5/37)

Well I think I'll ring YSL on Bond st. and see what they have to say on the subject. But Gucci I was JUST thinking 'I wish gucci would respond in the dada thread' and clicked on new posts and it was on top. Freaky.

HAHAHAHA!!!! def call seriously. Besides Manolos if I had to only pick ONE of my special other designer shoes to keep......it would be a close call between the dada and the Vuitton pleated pumps in cream

the dada go with ANYTHING....and you can wear all year round. look great under jeans, cropped pants, skirts. i love them!

yeah it's weird because I was planning on wearing them with this purple dress I have (but now that I think about it, I'm not sure the styles compliment each other) but they would look majorly fierce under jeans and things. eeep. I love these shoes. What is the heel height on them though? 4"? They were higher than I thought they'd be

purple and gold. I love that. love love love love love it. they are 4 inch heels. I believe they also did a significantly lower one too

They have. But not in my size (if they run large I;ll need 39.5.) I love them too. My fave YSL shoe ever, along with the Jeanne in blk pat. Want them both.

BTW you look lovely in that photo. Love the whole outfit -- the skirt is wonderful. Who's it by?
