I believe I saw some plain gray one when I bought my Johnnys 2 weeks ago at the YSL on 57th...the gray is a fabublous color esp the ones with ostrich trim...yum~

Guessgirl, no, it doesn't come in patent. There is grey, taupe, cognac. Im going to YSL today and Ill find out for sure.

Yup...I got the plain zip-up black boots in mini goat skin...I was considering the ones with the strap but they are not high enough ...the ones I got make me look almost 6'3"...I was gonna get the Dior ones but they were sold out in my size...but anyway, the goat leather on my Johnny is so soft

At first I thought the Rive Gauche was a little conservative and boring. But once I saw the ostrich I fell IN LOVE!! I wonder what colour's will be coming out...even beyond Spring summer into fall. I suppose we'll find out soon..

I don't think that it comes in patent, but there is a kind of cementy grey color and a really, really beautiful rich green in the regular leather that are both quite nice.

It's just so hard..I'm trying to save up for a Birkin and other stuff and stop myself from caving in and getting another bag.

Anyways, I went to YSL and the colors I saw were chocolate, black, taupe, beige, and grey. I did see a sort of yellowish Ostrich RG...but I did see the bag Uniq should get...

A 1 of 4 croc Rive Gauche. They took raw untreated white crocodile, got black lacquer and used a stiff brush to paint the croc, so wherever the lacquer goes it goes and wherever it doesnt, it doesnt. It is fricking GORGEOUS in person...The matte white showing through the shiny black, it's a variation on the pony one they had on the runway (which BTW they sold, and was also a very limited edition).
