Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Spring 2011 : Ginta Lapina

i think when it comes to cosmetic ads, ysl shouldn't change model too often. they confuse customers that way. cosmetic products unlike clothes dont change every season so no need to change it every season.

to me ysl beauty campaign with coco is the best in recent years.

I love the shot of Jourdan, she´s got the old YSL racial glamour.

I dont get why they have 2 shots for the touche éclat why not just have Jourdan.. or vice versa

This is for a new $30 lip balm range entitled 'Volupte Sheer Candy' which looks and sounds like it's aimed at teens with more money than sense (temptalia.com):

  • N°1 Lush Coconut - A touch of deliciously golden freshness.
  • N°2 Dewy Papaya - A discreet orange-pink pleasure.
  • N°3 Juicy Grapefruit - A candy pink that sparks envy.
  • N°4 Succulent Pomegranate - A sinful desire for a fruity pink.
  • N°5 Mouthwatering Berry - A bite of the forbidden fruit.
  • N°6 Luscious Cherry - A candy delight.

ngl, i'd get it, especially for real cheap. (doubt i'll pay more than 10 Euros for that...)

Hate Jourdan's shot. If they wanted a darker girl, why not Sessilee Lopez or anyone else? She's so boring and UN-YSL. At least Ginta's shots have some sort intrigue and mystery to them.

I have to say, I'm getting quite fond of seeing Ginta in these YSL ads, even though she looks so young, but I suppose part of that impression comes from her baby-blonde hair.

^ Yes me too. It's her eyes that are the most captivating. The woman's eyes are so important in a YSL campaign.

Did we miss this one for the Mascara Singulier Nuit Blanche back in February? (makeup4all.com):
