LOL. If this isnt Miu Miu SS 07 recarnate, i dont know what is. I do not like Karen Elson here. The ads this season have been a let down. I dont know what the directors are going for, but hopefully this isnt a taste of twhat is to come in the future.

i received an email today from ysl, and it said "the new spring/summer 2007 mens collection" so i assume this ad is for s/s...

me too and i recognized vincent gallo ... physically, i can see why he was picked ... he fits the mood of the collection ... but i am a bit displeased by the man himself he's a bit disconcerting and sort of distracting ... oh well. i love ysl though ... get someone else next time

Vincent is very unattractive! EYUCK! I do like the clothes he is wearing though. YSL always keeps their ads minimal so im used to it.

i like the concept of the mens photographs..i wish they were the same as the womens campaign!

The men's ads seem to speak to the idea that, the clothes, once they leave the atelier, once they're off the catwalk, have a life of their own. Gallo certainly is not the most PC choice and while that's usually commendable, here it just makes me uncomfortable. But look quickly and you see Pilati or even YSL in his shaggy days. So I get it but I dont get it but I get it. (It's nice to see that Jeff Burton can actually shoot people with their clothes on, almost feels like Tom Ford underused him).

With regards to the women's campaign, I'm more attracted to the strong, dark colours than I am to the model choice or the clothing. Thinking about it, this means the message isn't really getting through to me about what this ad is trying to sell.

i don't like these season ysl campain...
the men campain is as boring as Mr. Gallo... i don't like him. the only shoot i like for men campain is the one at night. thought of David Bailey on 1st sight.

like the styling of men eventhough i don't like how vincent is wearing the outfits.

for women campain... well i don't like the colour palette, actualy.
