What are the Balmain knock offs everyone is talking about?

It's the black booties! Two types have been spotted in Zara stores so far: one with tassles, one with fringes. Both are black suede and look very much like the ones at Balmain!

yea, i usually do that haha, smelling it.
but the thing is im miles away from zara and i dont want to travel for hours to find a pair of boots that wasnt as nice as i remembered it to be so im wondering if anyone on tfs seen it or have a picture of it

No i'm not sure.. does Zara have an e-commerce site?
Or else I guess the only way you can find out if the nearest store is too far is if someone here or someone you know who lives closer to a store can go and check it out.

scara, if you put some water drops onto colored leather, the wet area would get dark, that's one way to test it. also fresh leather should have a strong leather odor. and if the leather has a thin lining against it, you can feel through the lining the suede side. fake leather has that plastic, too smooth feeling and also smell of synthetic material
