I just got back from Zara! I got some black flat boots (TRF), they have a little flap that you can fold down. Pretty cute.

I also got a grey handbag, with a bow on it. I'll try to find pics!

#2999 the female model in the zara catalogue pics looks like she has a problem shutting her mouth. Dont know if she was trying to give some sorta look ...

haha I just noticed that :p but aww I love Ali! she fits the theme quite well

TRF came out with some colorful, short, kimono-like silk tunics (with a gathered waist) that's perfect for lounging around. If I end up getting one I'll post pics!

I saw those, the prints and colors are so pretty. I tried on the one with swirl of colors in the teal family, but the shape looked awful on me.

some old zara stuffs..

^Exactly what I was going to say!

I'm in Edinburgh this weekend which means one thing....ZARA TIME

I agree, the shape and fit are weird, but the print is lovely. I would love to wear these to lounge around! Some wear caftans; we Asians wear kimonos!

The green dress looks the nicest on film, but I was actually the least impressed with it. I got the one in the middle but might return it. The problem with fit is pretty visible--too loose on top and too tight on bottom. The third dress has the nicest print but the picture didn't do it justice. I have to go to another Zara tomorrow to see if they have it in my size. Having worn monochromes my entire life, it's hard to find a print that I like!

The first and the second dresses are both $39. The third dress is $59. There are other versions of silk kimonos in the same price range from TRF too. I believe they just hit the sales floor last week.

I'm also very picky about prints, and these are just gorgeous. They look very pretty on you, despite the difficult fit. Now I'm tempted to try some on again...

Lol, I'm obsessed with kimonos and those Chinese collared dresses (what are those called?), and I'm always worried about offending Asians because I wear them as evening dresses, even day dresses in my wilder days.

Oh my goodness the green one looks gorgeous! I think I saw the third dress in the store today.

Does anybody here have experience with their leather jackets? Well, I doubt they're made out of completely real leather but I digress.. ^_^ I saw one I liked for $199 but am worried about the quality and that I'll only get a few wears out of it. Furthermore, I'm still a part time working/full time student, so while $199 is still significantly cheaper than paying half a fortune on an authentic leather jacket, it's still enough money that it makes me hesitate on whether it's worth it or not to buy it.

The jacket I am eyeing is still quite nice. I do like it a lot, and I remember regretting that I never bought a leather jacket last year. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

On a side note: I went to my local Zara today and I have never seen so many Louboutin-inspired shoes. So gorgeousss. I'd buy them all except their sizing seems to be a bit off.

I bought a bomber style leather jacket from TRF a couple of years ago and I wore it so often (until I actually got to afford a RO). The leather was soft at the beginning but it got even softer with wear. It still looks great and I still have it in my closet (even though I hardly wear it anymore). I was really pleased with the quality especially as it was still affordable. Hope that helps.

LibertyRose
, you look lovely in all of those. Maybe I should check them out too but then I wouldn't know what to pair them with.

LibertyRose, all three dresses are gorgeous! but i like the green the most, it really flatters your body type

I just recently bought a beige knitted pullover from Zara. It is not a chunky knit, but I dont really know the material. It is wool mixed with something but feels so soft and is a very good basic. And it was down from 39 to 25 €

libertyrose, i think the first one is beautiful. think these were quite versace inspired...
