Has anyone in Canada tried to return a brand new (tags still on) item after 30 days? Is it possible to get store credit or exchange? I bought a leather jacket back in November (the one with two pockets on the chest) but haven't worn it yet... plus I think it is a little big on me. Any stories on post-30 day returns would be helpful :)

I tried it once in Germany but the SA refused to pay me back my money and take the pair of shoes, which were unworn and have tags with it.
Maybe your SA is more cooperative than mine.

I think they are being very consistent with their return policies here in Germany in general. Once I tried to return an item (unworn with tags) two or three days after the 30 days and the SA refused to take it back. I think that's really not customer friendly. I mean as long as the item is unworn with tags attached they should at least consider exchanging it for a different item or store credit.

Ditte, cute flats and so you ;)

Rockin Republic: I had people looking for them in 3 countries, Denmark, Sweden and Portugal! So I am so happy that I finally found them!

Only one week left of sale. Thank goodness.
For one thing, the new collection is awesome, lots of LV inspiration going on. And I even more wish this madness would end, because I'm a SA at Zara, and seriously, this is the worst time of the year.
I can't speak for other countries, but in Germany a big part of the new collection will arrive on monday, so if you're eyeing something, you should definitely buy it now or it will be gone.

No, we're just shifting it a bit. So that the new stuff will be in focus. I don't know how your Zara looks like, but the Woman and Basic section will be restocked and the sale area will be reduced in size. The smaller sale goes on for yet another week, so until next weekend. :flower:

The same goes here. They reduce the sale section to a VERY small portion of the store, but the sale goes on until february. it's a bit annoying as there's nothing really good left. I'm still waiting for the new coll. to arrive....

As for returning items. Over here they're pretty relaxed in that sense. I once returned somethng without a ticket and past it's 30 day mark and they didn't make a fuss over it. My mum has returned shoes after the 30 days too, so I don't think there's a big problem. Good luck!

Is it just me or does Zara really not give that much in reduction in sales? I just think most stuff is at 30% or something like that? Whereas, H&M always starts with at least 50%.

Mmm I think they start off with 30% (some items are marked up to 50% from my experience, but it's rare) and they add more discount as weeks pass.

The zara here (Bristol) had seemingly good reductions, but I think I missed all the good clothes and stuff, dammit.

Sometimes they go down for only 5€ or 10€ less. It's getting more in the last weeks of sale but then again, there won't be your sizes. You should have much luck to get really good stuff on Zara Sale.
