Thats exactly what I thought... And when its all raining and snowing as it does here, I wouldnt even wear them with thick socks. But maybe it's just a cultural thing, German women always trying to dress practial .

You're probably right. No German woman would ever wear sandals (with tights or socks) in winter. But it's also not really possible as it rains or snows a lot. You'd not only get soaking wet but also ruin the shoes.

i saw a pair of over the knee boots at zara today! they cost 170$ and they were a brownish black. they also had a chunky heel. unfortunately they only came in a size 41.

Those boots are knock offs of the Alexander Wang boots he's doing for the fall season. Zara is really fast in copying these days. I like those too. I doubt my Zara will get them though.

mlaure those boots are badass! i haven't seen them at my local zara, but am going in tomorrow to return that Kain-inspired pocket tee... you know that'll just turn into another buying spree :S

thanks everyone for your sweet comments on my new dress, i was iffy about keeping it because it's not very practical as i have no appropriate event in the foreseeable future that i can wear it to. but it just so cool that i must keep it!
