i actually don't like zara at all.. is it just me!? because all of my friends like zara.

zara usually has beautiful clothes and it's quite unexpensive, so...what's not to love? :p

I'm on the other hand am an addict. Half of my clothes are from Zara... Not sure if that's a good thing but as long as I'm happy... :P

What's the quality like of the shoes from Zara?
Are they worth buying?
A friend bought a pair of flats that broke on the second day she wore them...

^^IMO they are very uncomfortable and quality is not their priority, though I have one pair of boots, but they are 5 years old, and I wear them only from time to time.

I have only two pairs of heels from Zara, both are comfy... haven't tried flats or boots though.

i remember my very first pair of zara shoes. i was still a student and thought they were my best pair ever... they were padded in some poly fabric all the way through and did the trick in cold winter london nights out... but thinking back they were terrible quality.
the only pairs i tend to wear from zara these days are to be honest only the flats in summer :) they seem to be ok!

or how much they run, and if there's a store anywhere near LA in southern cali??

I live in the south of the France so I'm not very far of Spain so the prices are not very very high but sure it's more expensive than H&M but the quality is improved. Before the zip used to broke up now i don't have any really matter. I bought my first pair of shoes a pair of boots.
The thing is that they make very "luxury fashion" inspired shoes that they sometimes look them better than any shoes shop as San marina/Minelli in France so I hardly find something interesting expect for standard ballerina or shoes.

About the quality, all I can say is that it's not so bad really but don't try to make a shopping marathon in a huge city with it. After 3 or 4 hours they are not really comfortable anymore anyways i think it happen with a lot of shoes, not especially zara
And I bought my first bag also. This bag is imo one of the best they did. I don't know about the quality though but the first thing which was weird is that it smells very bad in it.

The last thing i wanted to say is that I bought a wonderful top in the Zara Women section ( the expensive one ) and I was disapointed that a few months later the top was already torn. And so for another dress but I used to wear it a lot.

jun3machina i'm in socal near LA, too. i saw them last at santa monica but i'm not sure if they might still be around. i think it's been a month sicne they've been out. try calling south coast, century city, and topanga....good luck!

My absolute adorable friend in Portugal has raided her Zara store taking pics of items she thought I might like...A lot of great stuff and Im considering theese two pairs of shoes and this awsome Prada knock of dress..what do you guys think?

I bought that pair of Zara ankle boots last night. They're really comfortable and so easy to slip into. Plus the height is almost perfect. You should get them!

hannah i got the same pair of boots, except mine are suede and grayish
btw yes they're pretty much comfy and i love them
i have tons of shoes from zara and i can't complain!

I think the quality differs between the menswear and womenswear.... my menswear pieces seem to hold up quite nicely. I can't really complain.

i just thought i would share that i did see the black leather/fur coat and it is indeed 999.99 Euros!!!!!
im sorry but whoever spends that money on that coat (by Zara i repeat) must be mad!!!!!

...oh and what a silly price

I think a lot of zara shoes are really improving in terms of style. When I was there less than a month ago at the shop on oxford st. there were lots of nice shoes. I have a pair of embellished flats (big jewels on them) that the quality thus far has been alright. One of the jewels got knocked off but thats alright since I kind of expected it to happen....

meg,
are you talking about the ones with the big red crystal?
i am actually a sucker for the jewelled flats.... :innocent:

jun...the balenciaga scarves are $29...
i picked one up at the sf center store last week...
