About Zara's shoes quality:
It can be really a hit or miss. I have owned so many shoes now by Zara and I can say that my black satin ballerina flats with a bow are the most comfy pair of shoes in my whole big collection but also I have owned some shoes who needs their time to be more comfy after been worn a couple of times like my Chanel a like flats in grey suede. I have only flats and some heels by Zara, on sale this time I bought for the first time some boots which seems to be comfy. But I've also tried some other boots and it's leather was hard like hell!
Also you have to take a closer look at the sole, sometimes it's too thin and I leave the shoes because they will be damaged after wearing the shoes a couple of times, otherwise go and get a extra gummi or whatever sole

Here are my sale buys:

they are awesome aren't they? I'm thinking of getting the patent version as well....

thanks a lot! They are more lavender in real life. I hope that I can wear them as soon as possible but the weather is really bad here...

alix, i think it really depends on the style... some look really junky, but others are done pretty well in nicer leather, etc.

i just bought a pair of brown leather booties a week ago and am shocked+amazed at how comfy they are!

who cares what they think!?

if you like it then wear it and enjoy it ;)

that's all that matters in my book ^_^

that's so nice from you ^_^ I proundly wear it xD

love love the shoes Fruchtzwerg I consider buying the knock off and the flats xD

By the way, that's so funny the director of zara of my town also look at me like this >  everytimes I'm in Zara Because I come so many times xD

don't worry about being looked, I'm going plenty of times in my favourite stores! I was on monday and thuesday in Zara, and I'm planning to go tomorrow or friday because I might get a trench coat. :)

I thought of getting those as well, but they weren't available in my size. Maybe I'll try to squeeze my feet in the small shoe :innocent:
btw, do you know whether this is real suede?

oh, i saw that really cute (and CHEAP!!!!) women's trench at Zara. 80 Euros! And I see that you got the knock off Pradas. Although I'm not a fan of those AT ALL.

I talked to someone at Zara today here in Vienna (Haas House, in case you wonder), and that woman told me that the sales will start around January, after NYE. Which sucks. I want that men's trench, but I'm so broke right now, I can't even fork the 130 Euros over, so I'm really hoping that the sales will arrive soon.

I could also beg my cousin in Berlin to buy said Trench for me in the sale.... :shifty: In what german cities is Zara on sale?

@laurettte: yepp, it's real suede, I checked it before buying it. Well, I'm lucky of having smaller feet (size 37) so that there are still some patent versions left.

@street a licious: NOrmally Zara sales starts right after Christmas (like Mango) so I'm suprised that it will be this season in January...
About the cities, I guess almost every city got the mid season sale and I'm pretty sure that Berlin is including.
My Trench was for 50€ and now I'm tempted to get it.... :)

These shoes are on sale right now, Fruchtzwerg? I love every single pair you bought! Need to go shopping tomorrow! :p

@purdles and petit puppy: yes, all on sale. The red peeptoes and the prade knock offs were bought about 2 weeks ago and the rest are since monday new members of my shoes collection :-)

The shoes weren't reduced at "my" Zara :(
They had a few odd ballet flats on sale and a tiny corner of ugly jeans, trousers and sweaters reduced, that was it.
I really love those thicker basic sweaters though (14,90€) I bought one and if it holds up nicely I'm planning on getting loads more. Does anyone know about the quality? The thinner sweater's (those 12,90€ basics) sizing is weird, I didn't buy one but I think I'd need an L. I've never bought anything bigger than XS/S before.

Ohh and I saw the "Balenciaga" blazers, they grey one with the fur and the black one. I don't think they're very sought after here

happens to me with their knit sweaters too, I always get a medium or bigger even though i'm an xs in everything else and every other store. It's funny because then their xs coats are huge on me sometimes, yet I'd have to be 12 to fit into those other tops.

lol, if I have to buy anything over M; I'd rather ditch the item than going for a bigger size. Call me vain, but when I usually fit into an S, I'll just settle for S, and M at a max cause a lot of Zara Men's stuff doesn't even go to S, but start at M.

I hate those thin sweaters from the grabbing tables. They may be cheap and come in lots of colours but a) the material reflects the price b) the cut is awful, so short. What I really like however are the silk-cashmere-mix cardigans and jumpers. They usually are aboit 50 € and come in black and browns or greys and they are so soft and stand up to washes well. I can really recommend these.
