Zara in Manchester had that dress today, it was £29 I think?

I bought a cute little denim dress with detachable straps from TRF today!

That seems really cheap, it's new season right? I'm sure I saw that dress for around £40

I kinda love that black/navy blazer with white piping!!!!!!! please somebody tell me more of it!!!! is it long or short? please post a picture of it when you are actually wearing it!!!!!!!!please! is it look like famous balenciaga jacket? or i'm confused?

Here's the link for Denmark:click

What do you mean with the first sentence?

Thanks for the link, I can see it's only furniture etc.? I wanted clothes

I meant cutting from the top of the shoulder and then sow the two straps together in the middle - not a tested theory btw, I just figured it could be possible to do it that way. How would you do it?

I don't know which Balenciaga blazer you're talking about - but mine's the black one with the white (edges?). It's not long at all, but not very short or anything either. I try to post a picture wearing it later.

That's why it's Zara HOME, I thought you knew that the HOME "collection" is only about furniture, sorry
I think that crossing the straps would look a little weird, but I don't like crossed spaghetti straps in general.
A friend of mine shortened her straps this way:
just cut the strap until it is short enough but leave enough space to sew it on again. Then she simply attached the strap to the rest of the dress, she did this on the back and it is hardly visible.
That's a crappy explanation but I hope you get what I mean.

maybe this link will help you:

You are not confused. It is similar. It is short and a lot more lightweight than the wool one J Crew had last fall.

I don't own it, I've just seen it in the store, so I don't have any pictures.

Slightly OT, but Lindex (yes, I know...:ninja:) has one that looks just like it - in case anyone in a country that has Lindex wanted it but didn't couldn't the Zara one for some reason.

Well, actually I had no idea Zara had a Home collection = furniture and stuff - they don't have that in DK. I don't really know what I had expected.

Thanks for the tip on how to adjust the straps. I didn't actually mean to cross them, I'm not particular good and the whole sewing kinda thing, so let's just leave it to that :innocent: I think I might go after the dress and see if it would look good on me.

I picked up this dress from Zara yesterday btw. It's really gorgeous and the belt's really cool too. Unfortunately, it's too long for me.

^^I have that dress too and its so adorable :flower:

How long is it on you?

A good length under the knees. I'm very short.

I could probably shorten it, but I'm not very good at that, and for that price, it's probably best to put it behind me. I guess I'm not quite sure the quality is worth the price.

I bought this jacket at Zara on thursday. I had no intention of buying anything from there but I had time so I tried on a few things and this was one of them. I loved the color and the fit. I think it's perfect from s/s because it's red and nylon and those are 2 big trends for men this season. I also see me wearing it for a long time, if it isn't destroyed before then. I had no problem with the jacket until I came home and by dad called it a Member's Only jacket. :( But still, I love it and I look damn good in it!:D

uggh the zara where i live sucks! it doesn't have even half of things you guys posted on here! and that amazing stretch belt with the metal shapes is wicked but we never got that either...boooo!

I bought these shoes too... I see someone else has them... does someone know which brand they are "inspired" by? Balenciaga maybe?

^^^ Yes they do look Balenciaga esque I think. I really like those shoes! I'll keep my eye out on eBay I guess...

The dark dark navy/black blazer with the white piping on the edge - I've got that one and it's lighter, sort of a wool-jersey mix so it's not too light. It's similar to the J.Crew one. I really like it and have gotten heaps of compliments! It's not a cropped length but not long either, just right.

wonderland, a lot of people on here bought those gladiator sandals. I think I was the first one because I bought them when they just came out a couple of weeks ago. They are sold out by now at our Zara here. I don't think they are Bal knock offs. They don't resemble a certain style at least so they might be called designer inspired. They might also be a mix of different designers because I can see a little bit of Lanvin in them too. I just love them and they are pretty comfy too which is a big plus.
