I went by Zara today, and I finally saw the infamous "draping" coat that everyone has bought. I have to say, I actually like the "cheaper" version better. The whole draping effect looked awful on me, because the coat was way, way to big for me even though it was size XS. I wasn't that happy with the material either, and it's a lot thinner than the other coat, I bought. The coat I previous bought (but decided to return) is a lot warmer and well suited for winter. Instead, I bought a pair of amazing boots, they are so gorgeous! And a purple dress with a zipper in front. Both are from TRF.

Hey there. I just recently stopped by my local Zara (Santa Monica, Calif.) and I went downstairs to the TRF section and saw a few pairs of amazing boots. If you are looking for the perfect pair of flat boots for the cold winter season, I highly encourage you to check them out, they are gorgeous. One pair is made of soft suede, and it comes in a light brown color, and the other pair is buttery soft leather in a dark brown, maple color. I tried them both on and they are super comfortable, and go with pretty much anything. Anyway, thats all I wanted to say.

Thanks! Not very. It goes to my knees, but I'm short, so I think it's supposed to be a mid-thigh lenght dress.

Thanks scivolare and PrincessImp! The boots aren't very high, they go to a couple of cm below the knees on me.

I loved the boots! To bad we still havent got Zara anywhere near where I live..Aparently they cant seem to find any location thats classy enough for them

I'm really confused with Zara shop, that opened here not long ago, it seems like they're providing different policy here - the collections are not renewed here every 2 weeks like in Europe and sales are not huge as in Europe as well, not more that 20-30%

On my last visit to Zara I ended up buying beige argyle sweater from autumn collection, it's sooo cute

Went in today and saw one new leather jacket that I didn't like very much and a bunch of great coats that I didn't have time to look at. I bought a great leather vest, though! I am going back Wed. for actual shopping, so hopefully they will have more stuff >_>

advo - I think I´ve seen your boots a long time ago. I´m not really sure that I like them but the height of them looks comfortable.

Did you mean uncomfortable, or you are perhaps very used to high heels? If that's what you meant, than I agree. They are a bit too tall for daily wear - for me anyways - which is way I am considering returning them. Also because I bought another pair of boots, very lovely and completely flat heels. I need a pair of good boots for my jeans, can anyone vouch for the quality of Zara's boots?

You know, I was tempted to take pictures of them when I was there, but I just didn't have the nerve to do it! I'm pretty shy, especially when its sort of crowded and the employees are watching me.

I bought a pair of Zara boots on sale a couple of years ago. I think they were okay, not fantastic, not bad. I dont think they´ll last more than one season, if you wear them everyday. And we would very much like to see pictures of the boots youre referring to

You really think so? Because I find them a bit too tall. It's a chunky heel, but it's quite tall imo anyways. Truthfully, I really want to keep both pair but I shouldn't.
