i finally got the Balmain inspired boots...
kept thinking i want the actual Balmain ones but these did the trick. they look great

Went to Zara today (it was a looong due visit ) and spotted a pair of Gucci look-alike boots, but I didn't have time to look at the price or the materials. I also saw another version of the leopard scarf, this one in acrylic. Personally, I like it better than the satin one since it's not as shiny.

Looks like they're carrying a lot of mid-thigh long-sleeved cardigan with cowl neck, which is totally up my alley! I tried one on, but I was drowning in it and looked 3feet tall! It was gorgeous though Thick grey wool, with pockets and a draped front that extends into a large hood in the back...

There's a few...one at South Coast Plaza in Orange County, one at Santa Monica, there's one in SF in the Union Square vicinity.

Oh yes, I am well aware of the Zara on Post as well as in the WF center in SF...frequent visits to both. I was asking about So Cal as I had no idea there was a Zara there, fabulous! Fashion...which other shoes did you buy? The post did not have a pic?

I completely agree. Therefore I wouldn't want to spend all that money on them. But sounds like the Zara ones are a good alternative. I should try them on asap. Hope they are still in stores.
