yeah, my nearest Zara is at that same distance from me. and never been there, I think all my stuff comes from the one that's about 3,000 *** away from me actually.
I do love Zara.. their clothes are just better constructed than anything I've seen on H&M.. and it's slightly edgier when it comes to new shapes. Their footwear, pants and dresses are probably my favorite part.. which is funny because that's exactly what I find extremely weak on h&m, whereas hm tops, jackets and accesories can be more interesting and accessible than zara.

The sale in Zara today was much better than the first time I went in! Still didn't buy anything though....but I did buy these boots on the right for full price, £40 - I can't believe they're $129 in the US! That's almost £90! Picture is LibertyRose's from #3317

k.a.t.e: gosh, that was a good deal! These boots are TRF, so USD $129 is definitely on the high side. I haven't been able to wear them with anything except tuck-in jeans. Wonder if I can ever work a skirt with those...

How strange! They're definitely the same boots, and both made of leather, yet mine are from Zara Basic Collection.

The prices of the boots were a bit funny actually, I've never seen this pair before but I saw some others (they were ankle boots that slouched at the top with a gold buckle on the ankle and a slightly pointed toe, you've probably seen them) that were £79 when I saw them a few weeks ago yet now they're £40 have no sale sticker on, just the usual white price label?

Sometimes they make two versions of the same shoe - one finest quality, the other less so. The boots I posted the other day were originally 119e on sale for 39e, but I found another pair that looked exactly the same, only made of cheaper material, that was originally 80e on sale for 29e.

Oops I didn't realize the boots you bought were on the right!! Yes, they are from Zara Basic (it was the shoes on the left which were TRF). Basic boots for £40 is pretty amazing.

just bought 3 pairs of drop crotch pants from Zara today.. not sure what i was thinking.. i'll have to go home and experiment... each one is a bit different.. will have to take pics when i find my camera!. so cheap that even if i wear them once or twice i will be happy..

also bought a lovely loose blouse in a sort of purply / brown colour.. hard to explain but it's very pretty

they still had lots of great stuff on sale here.. i don't think zara is very popular here, which is great for me!

miss am i tried on that black tunic with the buttons you have on... it is lovely.. didn't look very good on me but it looks lovely on you!

^ can't wait to see! i tried on a pair of black drop crotch pants that were a loose summer weight with elastic/drawstring waist. looks so horrible on me but i can imagine it looking cool on someone else!

bought 2 pairs of heels today...a pair of blk suede wedges with black patent captoe and another pair of these AMAZING platform captoe pumps but in creme & black...i already have the blk & blk version and had been regretting not getting a 2nd pair, then this version popped up!

mostly likely i'll go back this week and see if i can find a couple more things. i found a couple loose tunic dresses a la Isabel Marant that i should've picked up.

Zara is having a huge sale on Bloor St. for any Torontonians reading this thread. I saw drop crotch pants and harem pants for $20 and tons of tops going for $12. Can't wait until Saturday to pick up a pair of harem pants!
