OHh I saw the LV knockoffs today and they were aprox. 189 USD... they look GORGEOUS in person! but I decided not to buy them, I'd just wear them for a season and leave them which is not good. I prefer to stick to something more classic atm... or less expensive for my college budget

"trendy" - you are right. that is what disturbs me about those shoes.
i've bought the gladiator sandals when the came out a year ago, there was such a hype about them, i thought i was really lucky to get a pair. but i've only worn them a two or three times. they make my feet ache.
and to spend over 100€ on trendy high heels again... no, thank you

^that's why I got mine on sale =P I love the gladiators and thought they are very versatile and don't really go out of fashion but I also knew that given the extreme high heel I wouldn't be wearing them often so I didn't get them until I saw them on sale for half of the original price. I also didn't get the balmain knock offs simply because they're that high that I wouldn't be wearing them too often anyways. So maybe I'll get lucky this time again and find a pair on sale but I don't really count on it.
Pretty much the same here. I got the gladiators when they first came out and were new in the store but I don't think I've worn then out at all. They are just no walking shoes, more for going out maybe. But the problem with sales here is that all the good stuff in my size will be sold out by then so I can never count in the sales.
I tried on the Balmain knockoffs yesterday...eeech, not too comfortable. They looked lovely but since I already dropped $169 USD on the LV knockoffs, and the Balmain knockoffs cost the same, I couldn't justify doing it again for a shoe that hurt my feet.
Still kind of want them though, ugh.
Zara has a lot of nice shoes right now that are actually comfy. There were plenty of dresses in the Basic section that looked so nice for Spring too. I'm excited to return when I have a bit more cash.

great thing about the balmain knock offs is also that the shape is amazing and I might even think the real Balmains are the ones that look a little cheap! I didn't get them cause I probably wouldn't wear them more than 2 times. I don't really like the shape of the LVs to be honest..

^ I got the belt from the Balmain knock off dress today, the dress and the belt are sold separately. I did really like the dress too but it was a bit pricey as it was silk and I didn't want to spend that much money on a dress that I don't really need right now. It is absolutely gorgeous though and I might go back and get it...hmm. But I already have some black dresses I can pair the belt with ^o^
