Saw a girl wearing those flats in grey, combined with a simple white dress. Looked very nice as well! I'm definitely going to check out Zara tomorrow, to see what they have :shifty:
 
i love the yellow high heels misspisc posted. but i always wondered, are they embossed leather or real snake? cause i can feel and peel the scales. if that is snake embossed cowhide, then DAMN, it looks & feel fantastic!
 
so cute! love the blue shoes. it looks like a great alternative to the gladiator sandal which is on literally EVERY FOOT.
 
I agree octopi, gladiators are seriously starting to annoy me now.

I was in Zara today and picked up tons of summer dresses to try on but their damn sizing meant they were all too big again ..ugh.

I don't know if you guys watch Ugly Betty, I do and I couldn't stop laughing when Wilhelmina saw an assistant wearing gladiators and told her

"You! are those gladiator sandals? are we in ancient Rome? will you be wresling a lion? take those off. burn them. You, are fired!"

I am bored of classic gladiators too, but I like some more sophisticated and simplified versions though.^_^
 
I've never shopped in Zara before but I went in to look at the shoes this weekend because they have lots of nice ones recently. But ugh none of the stores (I went in three to see if they had a particular pair in my size) have shoe departments, they're just spread out all over the floor and it does not make a good shoe shopping experience having to wander around the whole store trying to look at the shoes which are on the floor under the clothes racks!

^ahh, you're soo right, the shoe racks are unbearable. And it's soo annoying to get rid of them as well. Next time if can't find a special pair, ask one of the SAs whether they could get you your shoes from the storage. They can check as well whether the shoes are still available in your size in another store.

I did ask an SA in the end, and the SAs are very helpful in Zara (they didn't have my size though) but I just really wanted to browse their shoes! :(

I don't know why they thought displaying them like that is a good idea, I guess it saves them store space but it's beyond frustrating. The shoes are the only reason I went into the store!
 
^ The Zara in Bristol is a nightmare for finding shoes, they only seem to carry about four styles at a time, dotted all over the place so half the time you miss them!
