Zimmermann isn't interesting but they are incredibly savvy business people. They aren't here to be on the zeitgeist, they make products that people want. There's a huge market out there for flowy dresses whether people like it or not.
Nice to see bolder prints and symmetric volumes at Zimmermann, instead of the topsy turvy Victorian embroideries: this collection feels more anchored to a European boho aesthetic
It's a good show and there's a bit of Roberto Cavalli energy in this particular collection. The color palette, styling and aesthetic but still very Zimmermann.
It's nice to see the progression of the brand. It's slow but they aren't as stuck as I thought they would be.
