Yohji Gets Honored


Japanese fashion master Yohji Yamamoto will be honored with the Purple Ribbon Medal of Honor in Tokyo in a ceremony on May 17. Yamamoto, who, besides his signature line, also does the Y-3 range for Germany's Adidas, is being recognized for his contribution to artistic excellence in his native Japan. Congratulations!

The medal, awarded by Emperor Naruhito, was presented by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology in a ceremony in the Josui Kaikan hall in the central Tokyo business district Chiyoda-ku.
