am i the only one that looks at skinny jeans as a staple? people have been rocking those FORVER especialy in terms of street fashion in various euro-cities and south america... how is that a trend that can go out, if its been around for decades?

In my area of the Us, Skinny jeans have only been seen around in the last 6 years or so, and even now are not very common to be seen

* heavy crystal & rhinestone (oversized) embellishment ( V&R, MJ)
* sixties futurisism, space age, brocade, shifts (gucci, burberry)
* 80s rave culture (proenza, d&G) fluro, lace
* body con, leger/alaia influence, bandage dressing (preen, christopher kane)
* star prints (margiela, v&R, biba)
* metallics
* nudes & neutrals
* black & white
* 1920s dropped waist, loose fit, longer length dresses
* S&M styling carried on from FW

I have noticed a return to the pointy-ish shoes... Ann Demeulemeester, Yamamoto, Watanabe and CDG all ahd them for spring... it's probably a result of the wider trousers trend....

well...
tonnes of dresses
pants , either skinny cropped pants which were calf length (dior , gucci , mara)
or wide pants ( posen , missoni , lauren )
or baggy harem pants/shorts
thankfully much less leggings as compared to last season
but platforms shoes are everywhere ...i dont think since 1975 has the world been inundated with so many platforms

I've been noticing a lot of floral prints around... not sure if it qualifies as a trend though I've seen it in much more than 5 shows.

Would one consider floral prints/the use of flowers to just be typical s/s or does it deserve a thread of its own?
