This sounds like a fun thing to try! I think I'm more likely to read the 50 books than to watch 100 movies, but one can always try:D. I'll try to remember post here from time to time and update my list.

I think my own personal challenge this year is to watch more non-english language movies, maybe around 5 in finnish and around 15 in any other than finnish or english.

my list so far:

1. The King's speech (2010, dir. Tom Hooper, country: UK)
2. Sleepy Hollow (1999, dir. Tim Burton, country: USA & Germany)

01.The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

I don't remember what / if I watched any movies the first week of January. Oh well. My ratings are always out of 5.

1. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (4)
2. Knocked Up (4)
3. Moneyball (4.5)
4. The Help (3) Loved Jessica Chastain
5. Margin Call (3.5)

Good idea to bold titles. I like most of what I've seen, but I'll highlight a select few. :D

  1. The Apartment (1960)
  2. Dracula (1958)
  3. A Separation (2011)
  4. Los Enchiladas! (1999)

^I'm up for that, a themed week or month... what does everyone else think ?

I think it´s a good idea :flower:
Also, since there are people from so many different places maybe they could recommend movies from their countries?

Are series and miniseries also considered for the challenge?
