The fall drawing board at 10 Crosby, Derek Lam’s secondary collection, began with the Macaulay Culkin movie “Home Alone.” Lam and his design director Liz Giardina imagined what their customer would wear on a snow day, coming up with retooled basics that included matching pajamalike pants and tops done in a black cat print, Shetland sweaters with chunky peplum waists and poplin and chambray shirting and shirtdresses, some of which had double collars. It was all true to the crisp American look Lam is known for — sportswear separates that are prime for layering, whether under a tailored trench or a fox fur vest.

why would anyone want a 10 crosby logo shirt?

perhaps he was inspired by celine's recent logo shirt that sold well.

Some cute pieces here (pants and knits especially) but at this point I'll take his signature line any day over this one...

Cool imagery and undecided at first whether just seduced by the pics. But no, a nice luxury grunge collection in it's own right. I liked the slouchy ease and the working from home but maybe not too hard playfulness. A kind of confusion of function around bedwear/outerwear, workwear/sportswear. A sense of a cosy but mischievous afternoon bunk off.
